Return, Replacement & Refund Policy

At XSORTEX Hub, we are committed to providing genuine electronic components, development boards, sensors, modules, and maker products. We carefully inspect all products before dispatch. Please read our return, replacement, and refund policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Return & Replacement Eligibility

A return or replacement request may be approved if:

  • You received an incorrect product.

  • The product was physically damaged during transit.

  • The product is Dead on Arrival (DOA).

  • Items are missing from the package.

  • The product received does not match the order placed.

All issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

2. Mandatory Unboxing Video Requirement

📹 An unboxing video is mandatory for all claims related to:

  • Wrong product received

  • Missing items

  • Transit damage

  • Dead on Arrival (DOA) products

The video must:

  • Start before opening the sealed package.

  • Clearly show the shipping label and package condition.

  • Capture the entire unboxing process without cuts or edits.

  • Clearly display the product and the reported issue.

Claims submitted without a complete unboxing video may not be eligible for replacement, refund, or store credit.

3. Products Not Eligible for Return

Returns, replacements, or refunds will not be accepted in the following situations:

  • Product has been used, soldered, programmed, modified, or altered.

  • Product is damaged due to incorrect wiring, reverse polarity, over-voltage, short circuits, or improper handling.

  • Physical damage caused after delivery.

  • Broken pins, bent connectors, burnt components, water damage, or mishandling.

  • Compatibility issues arising from incorrect selection by the customer.

  • Requests made after the allowed claim period.

  • Product is returned without original packaging and accessories.

4. Replacement Policy

For eligible claims, XSORTEX Hub will provide:

  • Replacement of the same product, subject to stock availability.

If the product is unavailable, we may offer:

  • Store Credit, or

  • Refund to the original payment method.

All replacement requests are subject to inspection and verification by our support team.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds may be issued only under the following circumstances:

  • Order cancelled before shipment.

  • Product unavailable after order confirmation.

  • Replacement cannot be provided.

  • Approved return after inspection.

Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days after approval and credited to the original payment method used during purchase.

6. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch.

  • Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled.

  • Shipping charges, payment gateway fees, and handling charges may be non-refundable where applicable.

7. Shipping Charges

If the error is from XSORTEX Hub (wrong product, missing item, verified defective item), return shipping charges will be borne by XSORTEX Hub.

For returns arising from customer error or incorrect ordering, shipping charges will not be refunded.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

Unless explicitly mentioned on the product page, products sold by XSORTEX Hub do not carry any manufacturer warranty.

Electronic components are sensitive devices and can be damaged by improper handling, incorrect wiring, static discharge, over-voltage, or misuse. Such cases are not covered under replacement or refund.

9. Inspection & Verification

All returned products undergo inspection before approval of replacement or refund.

XSORTEX Hub reserves the right to reject any claim if:

  • Evidence is insufficient.

  • The product shows signs of misuse.

  • The issue is caused by improper handling.

  • The claim violates this policy.
